Hello
Everyone,
Here we go again on another exciting episode of your favorite
Flash newsletter, FLADownloads. This month, we have quite
a few FLAs that run the gamut on style and technique.
If you have any questions about any work that you see here
today, email the authors with your questions. Or pay a visit
to their websites, if applicable.
I know, less talk, more Flash. Have a good September
Thanks,
Chris Richardson

Description:
We are happy to say that Andries from wireframe.co.za
has been nice enough to let us have access to his work. Andries has
done some quite impressive work and we are lucky to feature him. In
this issue, we have one of his cell movies. He offer variants of these,
but this month it's just this one. Be sure to check back in the future
for more of Andries' work. |

Description:
Simple but effective. That is how I would describe this FLA. On "Rain
in Kyoto", Valery demonstrates that you can do very effective things
in Flash without having to do major construction. The method in which
he gets the rain to drop was very good. I really enjoyed this FLA. |

Description:
This is another nice motion FLA. Achyut demonstrates how to have a
ball travel around an axis, and does so very well. With variable speed
control, this FLA is a nice tutorial for designers struggling with
motion in Flash. |

Description:
Yuliy, coming from syxdesign.com,
has dropped by to demonstrate his sweet game: Radial Snake. Based
on the Snake game that is prevelant in cellphones, Yuliy's submission
is more enjoyable. The big difference between his and the cell phone
version is that his is based on circular turns, whereas cell phone
Snake is based on 90 degree turns. I like this version more. |

Description:
Last, but definitely not least, Dan drops by and shows off his impressive
looking FLA of a spaceship landing. I was really impressed with the
background of this movie. The ship's image was nicely cut out and
blends well with the background. Very nice work indeed. |
